Here you can see a video of a company I work with called Idonix. They handled all of the data and GUI for the BBC General Election programs and have done for many years. This is a tough task – as the data comes in it has to be parsed and rules applied so that it can be made sense of. Then the correct data has to be fed to the correct graphic in the correct format with the general election there were a lot of machines for a lot of different services – as can be seen in the video:
